週末

週末、とても　いそがしくて、おもしろかったです。金曜日のばん　Taco Bellで　ばんごはんを　たべました。そして、りょうで　えいがを　みました。とても　おもしろくて、かなしかったです。土曜日のあさ　りょうで　ばんごはんを　たべました。そのあと、Rileyで　しゅくだいを　しました。ボーイフレンドと　Full Metal Panic!を　みました。よかったです。そのあと、Papa Vinosで　ばんごはんを　たべました。とてもおいしかった！日曜日のあさ　じゅういちじはんに　おきました。Subwayは　ひろごはんを　たべました。そして、Rileyで　photo projectを　しました。とても　むずかしかったです。いま、べきようします。

日本語の おんがく

日本語の　おんがくは　とても　いいです！ここは　Mihimaru GT。Mihimaru GTの　おんがくは　とても　よくて、たのしいです。ここは　おんがくの　ビデオ。Mihimaru GTは　とても　いそがしい。

I think they are a very interesting music duo, because one of the performers is a rapper and the other is a singer. I love the way they fuze both to create a really nice sound! This is one of my favorite songs by them called, "Love is..."

スカベンジャーハント

わたしは　ファンさんと　アリコさんと　スカベンジャーハントを　しました。とても　おもしろくて、たのしかったです。

ヂシオの　なかに　クリスマス木の　スカートが　あります。あかくて、きたなくないです。

先生の　ドアの　まえに　かんじが　あります。

バシリッカの　なかに　きれいな　ceilingです。あおくて、大きです。

さくぶん

週末、私は　いそがしかったです。土曜日の　あさ、はちじはんごろ　おきました。シャワーを　あびて、ごぜんじゅうじはんごろ　あさごはんを　たべました。アニメを　みて、土曜日の　ばん　ともだちの　パーテイーが　ありました。私は　いきませんでした。　でも、ボーイフレンドと えいがを　みました。えいがは　おもしろくて、よかったです。そのあと　ボーイフレンドの　りょうでは　べんきょうしました。私の　りょうでも　べんきょうしました。ごせんさんじはんごろ　りょうに　ねに　かえりました。日曜日のあさ、くじごろ　おきました。くじはんから　じゅういちじまで　せんたくを　しました。じゅうにじはんごろ、ボーイフレンドと　学しょくで　ひるごはんを　たべました。　それから、ともだちに　でんわを　かけました。そのあと、としょかんで　べんきょうしました。私の　りょうの　まえに　としょかんが　あります。あの　たかいのです。いま、じゅうじはんです。にじはんごろ　ねます。

いつも いそがしい

私は　いつも　いそがし！　今週　私は　ごじかんぐらい　ねました。とても　わるいです！　きのう　ごぜんくじはんから　ごごくじまで　じゅぎょうが　あります！　そして ごごじゅうじから　ごぜん　しちじはんまで　べんきょしまた。私は　とても つかれました(tired).　this semesterは　とても　たいへんです。

this semester has been very hard for me. i hear from other people also that their junior has been very stressful as well. i have had so many projects due (especially these past few weeks), that i have been sleeping for about 3-10 hours per week. >__<

next semester, i will only be taking two studios which should bring the stress level down a little. hopefully!! good luck to everyone choosing their classes!

a favorite japanese singer

This song is called テキト Lover and it's by a music artists name EmyLi. EmyLiは　ソプィア　だいがくの　がくせいです。I really like her voice and she's a good dancer! She also has the same exact birthday as me! I'm still sad that I'm 20 and not very famous... lol. They compare EmyLi to Christina Aguilera because her voice is a lot heavier than some other J-Pop artists. I listen to a lot of Japanese music, but this song has been stuck in my head for a while!　Please watch it!

デパート

これは　ウルベヌ　アウトフィタスです。デパートです。ウルベヌ　アウトフィタスは　シカゴと　ダッラスに　あります。おおき　たてものです。ふろいく　ありません、でも　とても　ゆうめいな　デパートです。わたしは　せんがつ　ウルベヌ　アウトフィタスに　きました。おもしろい　デパートです。

Hi everyone! It's Lucinda! Something odd happened with my other blog so I had to start a new one. I will try to put the old posts up soon though!

This one of my favorite stores to shop in, or to just go look at when I have no money to spend! It has a lot of different and interesting things in it. It has clothes, shoes, jewelry, books, furniture, and other fun random things to look at. The closest one is in downtown Chicago (actually there are 2 of them in a 3 block radius) and there are a few where I live. I wish I could describe more of it in japanese! I'm excited to learn more words!

まいあさ、ごぜん７：３０　おきます。ごせん９：３５に　にほんごの　じゅぎょが　あります。ときどき　あるばいとが あります。まいにち　ごぜん１０：３０に　あさごはんを　たべます。へろごはんを　たべません。たいてい　じゅぎょが　あります　まで　ごご６：３０。ごご７：１５に　ばんごはんを　たべます。まいにち　ラフォルツネで　べんきょうします。まいばん　シャワーを　あびます。わたしは　たいてい　ごぜん２：００に　ねます。

On the weekends I'm usually just as busy as through the week! I have so much work to do this weekend, that I'm not really sure what order to do it or how to get it all done. It's mostly projects that take up a lot of time! If any of you would like to see some of them you should let me know! I love showing people things in Riley Hall, because usually if they don't have a friend in art classes they never see any of the cool things inside!

Today's picture is a Hello Kitty Airlines picture! Apparently there is a plane that is dedicated to cuteness! It serves food in the shape of Hello Kitty and everything is very pink! I really want to take a trip on it one day, but I bet it's really expensive!

Hi everyone! My name is Lucinda Nixon and I'm really excited about this blog! I don't think I've actually written one since xanga and myspace were big where I was from (which was maybe freshman year of high school... I feel so old. T____T)

For some reason, I've always liked Japanese. I think it started when I watched Sailormoon in the third grade!... And I feel like no matter what, Japanese always seems to find me! I'd really like to visit Japan one day, and hopefully like Japanese finds me I'll be able to find my way to Japan one way or another.

I am excited about learning all I can about the language and culture of Japan. I watch a lot of anime (but none of that mainstream dubbed stuff on Adult Swim. Yuck.), Japanese movies and dramas, as well as listen to a lot of the current music from there! So if anyone would like a few recommendations about anything, I'd be happy to suggest some things! I also like cute things, and a lot of Japanese things tend to be とても　かわいい！So I think when I write my blogs, I'll post little cute Japanese pictures (or any other pictures too... lol)! The one for today is two piggies named Monokuro Boo. Apparently "boo" is the sound for "oink" in Japanese!

The thing that I am worried the most about in this class is the grammar! We haven't learned too much yet, but there are so many uses for particles later on that they confuse me! I'm really excited to figure them all out though and become a pro! ^____^
